First classes hit the track!

Rm 11/12 were the first official classes to be able to be on the track during school time. It was a terrible day but they managed to find a spot in the weather to get the children out there. They loved it and it was certainly a challenge for some of them. Cant wait till we get all out bikes and have the official opening!

Samoan Language week here at school

On Thursday, we celebrate Samoan Language day. This week teachers have been asked to unpack some Samoan stories, talk about the Samoan culture and on Thursday one of our teachers, Mrs Leituala will be taking some of the classes for traditional Samoan dance and song. Going to be great! Talofa Lava

The sun was out.....

We have certainly been lucky with the weather we have had since school has been back. This has helped I think with the wonderful transition back from home learning lockdown to classroom learning. The well being of the children was certainly a key aspect of coming back to school however the children and staff have all loved being back and the school seems 'right' again.

Our Community Food Cupboard

We can now open up our community food cupboard. This was made and designed in Term 1 but because of the Lockdown, we could not share it with the community. We plan to place this at the top of the drive for anyone that might be needing any food to top up their own cupboards at home. Also, a great place to leave extra food you might be able to donate also. A give and take idea!

Making sure the children are keeping their hands clean at all times when they return will be of top priority. Thye will sanitize when they enter and leave their classrooms everytime.
