Samoan Language week here at school

On Thursday, we celebrate Samoan Language day.

This week teachers have been asked to unpack some Samoan stories, talk about the Samoan culture and on Thursday one of our teachers, Mrs Leituala will be taking some of the classes for traditional Samoan dance and song.
Going to be great!

Christmas Parade 2020

Having loads of fun at the local Santa Parade.

Teaching teachers to teach children to ride their bikes.

What a  great staff meeting it was to have all the staff on bikes and having a go. Role modeling to the children is so important and the learning that took place in this staff meeting was excellent. Loads of us just thought we would get children on bikes and away they go, however, we learned it is more than that and the games and fun you can have as a class of children on bikes is so good.  We look forward to getting all the children in every class on a  bike and enjoying our wonderful whole bike track!

Making sure the children understand Jesus whakapapa is very important  It allows them to truly understand him as a person.
