The GRAND bike opening

What a day this was and all the children had a wonderful time.
We had speakers and music and even a teachers race on scooters.




Making sure children are healthy and staying active is extremely important here at St Dominic's Catholic Primary School.

Teaching teachers to teach children to ride their bikes.

 What a  great staff meeting it was to have all the staff on bikes and having a go. Role modeling to the children is so important and the learning that took place in this staff meeting was excellent. Loads of us just thought we would get children on bikes and away they go, however, we learned it is more than that and the games and fun you can have as a class of children on bikes is so good.  We look forward to getting all the children in every class on a  bike and enjoying our wonderful whole bike track!
