Liam's update

A big thanks to all our awesome whanau for helping prepare our delicious sushi. This week is maths week! Good luck and remember to be your best and let God do the rest. Our rugby boys have been training hard and this Sunday they have a tournament. Good luck. Kowhai mufti day This Friday Kowhai has a mufti day. Don’t forget or it will be a wasted opportunity!

Cross country here at school

I hope everyone had a great school holiday break and is ready to learn. This year’s theme is- ‘Be your best and let God do the rest’. This means to me that I should strive to do my best in all my learning and in everything I do and leave the rest to God. This week everyone was looking their best for school photos! Boys and girls were doing last minute comb overs, tucking in their shirt and checking their look in the mirror. What good smiles! On Friday it was Cross Country. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and everyone was looking forward to it. All the kids ran their fastest and then received a medal saying, ‘Be your best’. What a fun but exhausting day. It has been an exciting start to the term and I am really looking forward to the next few weeks. By Jacob, Whanau Leader of Rimu
